As more households begin keeping pets and treating them as family members, the pet food industry has become one of the fastest-growing sectors worldwide. A Russian pet food manufacturer approached us to purchase an automated pouch packaging solution.

The customer required one fully automatic machine capable of packaging both 200g and 5,000g of pet food. Normally, such a wide range of weights and pouch sizes would require two separate models, the WH8-230R and WH8-300R.

To meet this challenge, we designed a flexibly adjustable machine that can switch between WH8-230R and WH8-300R configurations through simple adjustments. This customized solution enables the automatic packaging of all product sizes on a single machine, which significantly reduces the customer’s investment costs.
