Indonesia is the world’s largest producer and exporter of palm oil. In July 2022, the Indonesian Ministry of Trade launched the Minyakita (“Our Oil”) brand of packaged cooking oil. The brand quickly gained nationwide popularity, attracting a growing number of manufacturers to join its production.

Due to surging market demand and supply shortages, our Indonesian customer needed to transition from manual operations to automated packaging in order to expand production capacity. They chose Wanhong to provide high-speed liquid stand-up pouch packaging machines for 1-liter and 2-liter oil products.

The main challenge in this project was preventing liquid splashing during high-speed filling. To solve this, we designed a custom filling nozzle that allows the oil to flow down along the inner wall of the pouch in a circular pattern. The machine also features dual filling stations, dividing the filling process into two stages for greater stability.

With this solution, we delivered a high-speed pouch oil packaging line that met the customer’s expectations. The customer has since made multiple repeat purchases and gradually replaced all manual sealing machines in their factory with our automated systems.
