A piston filling machine is a high-precision volumetric filling machine used for filling both thick and thin products. It consists of a hopper, valve, cylinder, piston, and filling nozzle.

The filling/storage mechanism is activated by a signal from accessories such as a foot pedal. This signal triggers the rotary valve to rotate, allowing the product to flow from the hopper into the cylinder.

• Air in the Filling Tube: When using filling tubes, there may be residual air inside, which can cause inaccurate filling. Simply remove the air from the tube and reset the machine for accurate filling.
• Instability in Overall Pressure: If the pressure is unstable, check the compressor's pressure stability and the air tank's capacity to ensure it can supply enough pressure for the filling machine.
• Incomplete Valve Action: If the filling machine's valve is jammed by foreign objects, causing the valve not to fully switch, remove the foreign object and reset the machine before proceeding with the filling.

For liquids with poor flow properties, it’s important to understand the product’s characteristics. If heating does not affect the product's quality, heating can help improve its flow. We recommend applying mild heating during the filling process. If heating doesn't improve the flow or is unsuitable for the product, consider adding a pressurization system to increase the flow efficiency of the filling process.
